Vancouver

Vancouver was my last stop on this road trip. The longitude and latitudes are 123° 8' 0" W and 49° 15' 0"N. The population for Vancouver was more then I had expected, with the number of 738,000 according to the 2004 census. And the population density is 999,000p/km. Vancouver's land form is mountains. Vancouver is known for their skiing. And they have the perfect landform for it!! The climate in Vancouver is cold, not all year, in the summer it gets worm - mild, but compared to most canadian cities in the southern hemisphere, it is cool. Dry winters, dry spring & fall as well. Vancouver is part of the Pacific Maritime Eco-Zone. Obviously located on the Pacific Shore line.  There are numerous amounts of National Parks in Vancouver. One of many is the Pacific Rim National Reserve. Industries Include Fishing, Hunting, Mining , Automobile, Graphic Arts, & entertainment. Vancouver is the capital of British Columbia. I saw the most tourists in Vancouver more then any other cities or towns I have been to, mostly there to see where the 2010 Olympic Games were held. Also there for the carnivals, and different festivities. I loved Vancouver and hopefully will visit again.

Regina

Next stop. Regina!  Longitude and Latitude , 104°35'W and 50°27'N. I love Regina. but I always gotta watch my back, in 2007 Regina was voted highest crime rate in Canada! eek! The population there is 199,000. Recorded in 2006. The population density is 1,198 /sq mi. Regina wasn't my favourite when it comes to landforms, the landform there is plain and dry. The climate is warm summers and cold, dry winters. I'm glad I wasn't there in the winter! Regina is part of the Prairies Eco-zone. I don't really like the prairies. The closest National Park in Regina is Victoria Park. I didn't get to visit it. But from talking to locals and reading in my books, Victoria National Park is meant be fantastic! There are quite a few Industries in Regina, like Steel and Manufacturing, Information Technology, Energy and Environment, Finance & Insurance, Agri-Business. Tourism wasn't as much as I thought it would be.  The main places I saw tourists were sports centers, museums and parks. I don't think I would visit Regina for a vacation anytime soon , but I did love the atmosphere that the City / Town gave to me.

Sudbury

Next on the road trip, SUDBURY! ahh good old Sudbury! The longitude and latitude are 80° 58' 0" W and 46° 30' 0" N. Sudbury's population is 157,857 according to their 2006 census. The population density is 46.27/km².  Sudbury has a beautiful landscape. The natural landform is mostly composed of igneous rock. From previous volcanic eruptions! Sudbury has a nice climate, sunshine and the average rainfall of 861 mm, September is the wettest month. Summers are dry, and hot, winters are cold and snowy, and the spring and fall seasons are cool and cloudy. Sudbury is located in the Boreal Shield! I wanted to visit so many National Parks. Unfortunately there wasn't one very close. The closest National Park to Sudbury is National Wild & Scenic River. Sudbury is good for many Industries. Three main industries in Sudbury are , Construction, Logging, and Automotive. The tourism in Sudbury was not as large as Montreal or Stratford. But, in the same respect, it wasn't bad. People go there to see the beautiful lakes and rivers all around Sudbury. Entertainment, and fun filled Family attractions. I'm defiantly going to miss the tranquility of Sudbury!

Stratford

Next on my journey I was welcomed into Stratford Ontario. The home town of Justin Drew Bieber! The longitude and latitude is W 80 56' and N 43 24'. Stratford was a small city! The population is 30,461 people as of 2006. The population density is 1,205.1 per square km. Stratford's landform is wet land, hill and forest. Which was nice to see walking through the town. The climate is moderate. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter time. Rain in the spring and regeneration in the fall. This is part of the Mixed Wood Plains eco-zone. The closest National Park to Stratford Ontario is Point Farms, Point Bur-Well, and Port Bruce.  Industries in Ontario for Stratford are, Agriculture and Food, Automotive, Construction, Education and Training, Entertainment, Mining, Plastics, Tourism, and much more. Stratford Ontario is known for minor tourism. Most people who visit Stratford are there for little individual tourist sites. As in diners, live music and entertainment, specific historic sites. Leaving Stratford makes me sad, but I know that in this little city I learned a whole lot!

Montreal

Bonjour!

Our next stop, Montreal! I was so excited for this stop! The longitude and latitude for this city is 73° 35' W and 45° 30' N. Montreal is a busy place, that's why I wasn't surprised when I found out the population is 1,906,811, according to a July 2009 census. The population density is 854/km2. Montreal's landform is mountains. When I was there, that was my favourite thing to look at! The climate is wet, warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Of corse this varies through out the season. Montreal is located in the mixed-wood Plains which extends along the Quebec City-Windsor corridor. La Mauricie National Park is the nearest national park to Montreal. I was lucky enough to go there. It was a wonderful visit! The industries in Montreal are pharmaceuticals, high-technology, steel, electronic equipment, refined petroleum, transportation equipment, textiles, clothing, food and beverages, printed materials, and tobacco. As you can tell there is a lot to choose from in Montreal. Tourism for Montreal was a lot! If you could only see how many people came to Montreal. Some sites that are most popular for tourists to see are Sir George-Étienne Cartier National Historic Site, Fort Chambly, Fort Lennox, Saint-Anne-de-Bellevue National Historical Site of Canada. There were many many more! I loved Montreal! I hope I can come back soon! Salut et Écouter prép Montreal!

That is common for Halifax because of the way  it is located near the Ocean. Halifax is located in the Atlantic Maritime Eco-zone. The closest national park to Halifax is Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. Halifax has many industries, including Web Design and Development, fishing, hunting,Oil and Gas or Natural Resources - Environmental Protection.  Tourism in Halifax is normal to high.
