Halifax


Finally Exams are finished!  My family and I are going on a road trip across the country! I am so excited!  We start in Halifax Nova Scotia. The Latitude in Halifax is 44° 39' 0" N and the Longitude is 63° 36' 0" W. The population for Halifax is 398,037. That is according to the  Censes  of July 1st 2009.  The population density for Halifax Nova Scotia is 1506.2 per km2. The landform is known for the hills in Halifax. Because of a glacier in Halifax, the landform isn't perfect. Lot's of hills near the ocean. Halifax's Climate is  an eastern-maritime climate, that means  a short, warm summer and a cold winter. throughout the year, the weather changes. That is common for Halifax because of the way  it is located near the Ocean. Halifax is located in the Atlantic Maritime Eco-zone. The closest national park to Halifax is Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. Halifax has many industries, including Web Design and Development, fishing, hunting,Oil and Gas or Natural Resources - Environmental Protection.  Tourism in Halifax is normal to high. There is alot to see like the Halifax, Gateway to Atlantic Canada, & the carnivals and festivals they have throughout the year.
